Geomagnetic sensors using Hall elements are widely used in smartphones and other fields.Magnetoresistive elements are components made from materials that can change their resistance value under the influence of an external magnetic field. There are four types of magnetoresistive elements: besides semiconductor magnetoresistive elements (SMR elements), they also include anisotropic magnetoresistive (AMR) elements, giant magnetoresistive (GMR) elements, and tunnel magnetoresistive (TMR) elements, all generated using strong magnetic thin films.
