As for LSG, Ayush Badoni sparkled with a fiery half-century to lead LSG to 165/4 against SRH, backed by Nicholas Pooran. Bhuvneshwar Kumar shook the Lucknow Super Giants early on by sending back both Quinton de Kock and Marcus Stoinis. Pat Cummins bagged skipper KL Rahul, who finished with 29 runs.

Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul won the toss and decided to bat first. Sanvir Singh replaced Mayank Agarwal, and Vijayakanth Viyaskanth made his SRH debut in the place of Marco Jansen. Mohsin Khan missed out for Lucknow, while Quinton de Kock resumed to field.

Head finished with 89 off 30 balls at a strike rate of 296. In the history of the IPL, no one has scored more runs at a higher strike rate during a run chase.
