Ram Kishan Bhaker, Manu's father, has spoken out in the wake of the widely shared memes and postings, saying that his daughter is "still too young" and that they are "not thinking of her marriage."

In an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, he stated, "Manu is really young. She's not even old enough to get married. Not even considering it at this time." In response to the widely shared video of his spouse and Neeraj Chopra, Ram Kishan stated, "Neeraj is like a son to Manu's mother."

Not just Manu Bhaker's father responded to this internet rumor. Neeraj Chopra's uncle also spoke candidly about the situation. “Just like Neeraj brought the medal, and the entire country got to know about it. Similarly, when he marries, then everyone will know,” he told the publication.

Neeraj Chopra and Manu Bhaker come from Haryana. Neeraj is India's javelin star and made history in the Tokyo Olympics by becoming the first Indian athlete to win an Olympic title in athletics, while Manu is the most successful Indian woman shooter in history.

Manu Bhaker won bronze in the women's 10m air pistol competition at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. She made Olympic history as the first female shooter from India to reach the podium.

Neeraj Chopra, the champion of Tokyo 2020, took home a silver medal at the Olympics. In six throws, he recorded just one valid throw of 89.45 meters. “It was a good throw, but I’m not that happy with my performance today,” Neeraj said. After the event, he added, “My technique and runway were not that good. (I managed only one throw; the rest I fouled."
