PM Modi Will Flag Off 5 New Vande Bharat Express Trains on 27 June 2023
Vande Bharat Express trains are a modern initiative by the Indian Railway to save on travel time. And to keep up this idea, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate 5 new Vande Bharat trans on 27 June 2023. All the trains will flag off on the same day, as PM Modi will do so virtually. It will include the rescheduled launch of Mumbai to Goa Vande Bharat Express, two from Madhya Pradesh, one each in Bihar and South India. Counting the new launches, the total number of Vande Bharat Express trains in India will reach a mark of 23.
There is no official statement yet about the inauguration from the Ministry of Railways. But on their official Twitter account, the department had earlier shared about the launch of the upcoming Vande Bharat Express on 27 June 2023. Here is all you need to know about the Vande Bharat Express train and its routes.
1. Bengaluru-Hubbali-Dharwad Vande Bharat Express
On Tuesday, Vande Bharat Express, the second one for Karnataka, will start to run from Bengaluru to Hubbali to Dharwad. It will cover a distance of about 490 kilometers in 6 hours and 13 minutes. It will leave at 5:45 AM from Bengaluru and reach at 11:58 AM at Dharwad railway station. The initial Vande Bharat Express for the state was for the route Mysuru to Chennai, and for Southern India, it was the solo semi-high-speed train.
2. Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express
A semi-high-speed train will run for the first time on the routes of Patna and Ranchi. It is the very effort Bihar and Jharkhand were awaiting. The Vande Bharat Express will take 6 hours to journey. It will also cross the densest routes of Tatisilwai, BIT Mesra, Barkakana, and Hazaribagh.
3. Bhopal to Indore Vande Bharat Express
PM Modi will launch two new Vande Bharat Express in Madhya Pradesh for the route Bhopal to Jabalpur, and Indore. On Tuesday, Vande Bharat Express will take off between Bhopal and Indore. It is going to be the second such initiative for the state. Previously, New Delhi-Bhopal Vande Bharat Express was introduced for the state, as the fastest Vande Bharat train in India with a speed of 160 kmph in some parts of around Agra.
4. Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express
Because of the tragic accident between trains in Odisha’s Balasore, the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express launch, which was to happen on 3 June 2023, has been rescheduled to 27 June 2023 instead. The high-speed train will reduce the time to travel by more than an hour.
5. Bhopal to Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express
While several super-fast express trains run from Bhopal to Jabalpur track, PM Modi will inaugurate a Vande Bharat Express for this route on Tuesday. The traveling time will be far lesser compared to any train that operates on this route.
