Beatoven.ai India?s first AI Music Tech Startup to Expand Further in 2023

The first Artificial Intelligence backed music tech startup in India – Beatoven.ai is going to launch a new AI tool for musicians soon. There are also plans for expansion in 2023. The platform will also serve other ethnic geographies but not with the motive to replace the actual musicians. But the AI algorithm in question can easily customize for different tracks. It is Mansoor Rahimat Khan and Siddharth Bhardwaj, two IIT-Allahabad graduates are the founders of the start-up, which is based in Bengaluru.

Beatoven.ai is allowing music composers since February 2021 to develop royalty-free and affordable tracks, purely using artificial intelligence. The technology assists the creators to analyze complex large music data through deep-learning networks. The AI tool can generate 5 options for tracks in just 10 seconds if the user needs to develop a one-minute track. The platform arranges the samples from the artists by going through the big data.

The track is arranged by integration of all layers horizontally and vertically in an assembled structure through AI-based models. The founders of Beatoven.ai believe that they want to make music accessible, affordable, and easy for millions of creators with an option to customize royalty-free tracks as per the user’s requirement. They own all the rights to the music. The content creators can then utilize their music in work but do not have to bear royalty charges for the same.

The company has put up the region-specific composition of music on brand algorithms. Also, the focus is on the classical music of India. But there are plans to extend the music library to ethnic music from areas such as Latin America, China, Korea, and others. The network is spread across the country. The subscription-based AI program by Beatoven.ai has three plans - USD 100/month, for production houses, USD 40/month for agencies, and USD 20/month for individual content creators.

Closed sources from the company revealed that Beatoven.ai is also planning to launch an AI tool to analyze the video. It will also track the changing scenes according to the mood and create a suitable track. With such an advanced AI program the music tech startup, however, does not want to replace humans but collaborate with them with tools that educated the musicians to mix tracks, compose music, and even assist freelancers.

AI use in music composition has several examples across the world. Francois Pachet, a tech researcher and musician in 2018, released Hello World, the first pop album composed with the assistance of an artificial intelligence tool.
