Karisma Kapoor’s Kids Challenge Stepmom Priya Sachdev Over Sunjay Kapur’s Will

Summary: Kiaan and Samara Kapur allege their stepmother forged Sunjay Kapur’s will and demeaned his memory.

There’s serious family drama unfolding around Sunjay Kapur’s will, and it’s getting messier by the day. His children with Karisma Kapoor — Samara and Kiaan Kapur — have accused their stepmother, Priya Sachdev, of forging their late father’s will and “demeaning” him in the process.

The two kids, represented by senior advocate Mahesh Jethmalani, have claimed that the will Priya submitted to the court simply doesn’t make sense — it contains errors, wrong names, and even details that, according to them, Sunjay would never have written himself. They’ve made it clear they believe this version of the will is fake.

The case was heard in the Delhi High Court, where emotions were running high. Karisma Kapoor was present too, quietly supporting her kids from the sidelines. Jethmalani didn’t hold back — he told the court that the only person who could have possibly benefited from such a will was Priya Sachdev herself, and that points to something more than coincidence.

Just recently, Samara and Kiaan had even compared Priya to “Cinderella’s evil stepmother,” saying she’d unfairly tried to cut them out of their father’s estate. The court has now asked Priya to submit a full list of Sunjay’s assets in a sealed cover to prevent any further tampering or leaks.

For some background, Sunjay Kapur, who was the chairman of Sona Comstar, passed away in June this year in London, reportedly due to a heart attack. His first marriage to Karisma Kapoor ended in 2016, and he married Priya Sachdev in 2017.
