Apple iPhone SE 4 is probably to launch in 2025, details leaked

Summary: Apple is creating a new iPhone SE, which it plans to release in early 2025 at an affordable cost.

According to the latest report by Bloomberg, the iPhone SE 3, which debuted in 2022, is still the preferred iPhone for many buyers despite its outdated look. Since its release in 2007, the home button has been a main feature of iPhones, and this one might be the last.

The upcoming iPhone SE 4, will probably arrive in early 2025, and look very different from its predecessor, with the current iPhone design.

The iPhone SE 4, also known as V59, is going to be the more affordable iPhone entry-level model. The iPhone SE 4 will feel like a major improvement over the iPhone SE 3 in terms of both functionality and design, thanks to a redesigned industrial design.

The iPhone SE 4, with an edge-to-edge display like the iPhone 14, will have a little hole at the top to house the Face ID technology, signifying the end of the home button. The iPhone SE 4 can include an A18 CPU, enabling Apple Intelligence and making it comparable to the iPhone 16.

Apple plans to release the next-generation iPad mini and iPad Air devices early in 2025, along with the iPhone SE 4. Similar to the current iPad Air series, the next models, named J607 and J637, will be available in two sizes and will be powered by an M3/M4 chip. In addition, Apple may update the iPad mini with Apple Intelligence in addition to an M series chip.

The iPhone SE 4 will have an action button and a USB-C port, but it will be built on the same chassis as the iPhone 14 (review). It might include a single 48 MP rear camera.
