Netflix just dropped a bombshell by revealing the first look of Joe Goldberg, hinting at season 5 of YOU.

Penn Badgley is all set to step in the shoes of Joe Goldberg again for season 5 of YOU, the most loved show on Netflix, where he plays the character who has psychotic tendencies, who falls in and out of love, and has a different understanding of love and romance. 

Fans are certainly excited about the return of “YOU” after Netflix dropped the details of the upcoming season. Penn Badgley will reprise his role as Joe Goldberg, the psychotic lover, who is also a serial killer. As per Netflix, the filming is currently ongoing, as they have released the first look of Joe Goldberg from the new season. 

Season four of YOU was left on a cliffhanger, with Joe on the run, starting a new life with Kate in New York. The upcoming season will be the last season of YOU. The first look dropped by Netflix shows Joe in shades of brown, black, and gray, roaming the streets of New York. Netflix dropped the picture with the caption, “Spotted: Joe Goldberg in New York City. The 5th and final season of YOU is now at the production stage.” 

The cast includes Charlotte Ritchie as Kate and Madeleine Brewer as Bronte, who will play the character of a reckless playwright who wants to intrigue Joe. Justin W. Lo and Michael Foley will take over as show runners. The release date of season five is yet to be announced. As the shooting for the finale has begun, we can say that the show will go on the floor at the end of this year.
