Vicky Kaushal's 'Sam Bahadur' Box Office Clash! Can It Surpass 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke'?

Summary: Sam Bahadur box office collection 18th day. Vicky Kaushal's film hopes to clear Zara Hatke Zara Bachke lifetime collection.

Film director Meghna Gulzar's war drama biopic 'Sam Bahadur' witnessed a sharp rise in collections on Sunday but declined on the third Monday. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Vicky Kaushal-starrer has earned a net profit of Rs 1.65 crore on its 18th day of release. The third Monday's numbers are not the lowest in history for the film, as the film had a similar box office success last Thursday, its 14th day of release. The film's total collection has now crossed Rs 78.25 crore domestically and Rs 105 crore worldwide.

Sam Bahadur survived despite mixed reviews and stiff competition from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal. The Ranbir Kapoor starrer was a huge hit, grossing over Rs 835 Cr worldwide and over Rs 500 Cr in India.

Sam Bahadur has two days left to make the most of its collection as Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki hits the screens this Thursday. The next day, Prabhas action film 'Salaar' was released in theaters and Sam Bahadur's screening numbers were drastically reduced.

Nevertheless, Sam Bahadur hopes to end his life close to Vicky Kaushal's last hit collection Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. This romantic comedy grossed 88 Cr. This movie has been a surprise hit this year and Sam Bahadur hopes to achieve this figure at the end. The film is Vicky's second hit this year and he hopes to continue the momentum next year with the release of a romantic comedy starring Triptii Dimri and Karan Johar.

Zara Hatke Zara Bachke Day 18

After a strong weekend, Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan's Zara Hatke once again achieved something remarkable on the third Monday. There was no decrease compared to the collection on the third Friday (1.08 crores) and in addition it added 1.08 crores. The weekend's gains were about the same on Monday, but sales were still expected to fall by at least 25%. However, this did not happen and despite the reduced ticket prices, attendance remained the same as on Friday.

But it is clear that the audience is crazy about the movie and even after the release of the blockbuster film 'Adipurush', they still pay their full attention to this romantic comedy-drama. Yes, for the majority, the first choice of the weekend was the mythological tale led by Prabhas. But now that the excitement surrounding the film has subsided, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke has taken on a life of its own and is drawing audiences back to theaters.
