Raveena Tandon’s driver is accused of assaulting three women; the CCTV clip tells a different story.
Summary: A viral video shows actor Raveena Tandon having a verbal fight. She and her driver have been accused of abusing two women. However, the CCTV evidence appears to contradict these allegations.
Raveena Tandon and her driver recently got into an argument after a road rage incident. The footage is widely shared on the internet. The incident occurred outside Tandon's Bandra apartment in Mumbai. Raveena and her driver are accused of attacking two women. However, CCTV evidence appears to contradict that claim.
According to a source close to the actor, "Raveena was assaulted by this gang of people as they attempted to enter her house. Her car did not even make contact with the lady in issue, as evidenced by CCTV footage. After her car entered the building, the crowd began demanding that the driver come out and speak with them. Raveena tried to intervene and defend her driver and watchman from the crowd as a means of preventing the lynching. During this, she suffered injuries. According to a viral video circulating online, the driver did not harm the lady. This is a case of personal security breach."
Raveena Tandon shared an image of the post from 'Viral Bhayani' on 'X', formerly 'Twitter', claiming that the complainant submitted a false complaint in the matter and that after checking the CCTV tape, it was found that Raveena's car did not hit anyone and she was not drunk.
According to the report, while speaking with a Mumbai-based daily, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Rajtilak Roshan of Zone 9 denied the complaint.
"The complainant filed a false complaint in the viral video. We checked the complete CCTV tape from the society and discovered that the actress's driver was reversing the car from the road into the society while this family was crossing the same lane. The family halted the car and advised the driver to check if there were people behind it before reversing, and an altercation ensued," the DCP told the newspaper.
When the argument got out of hand, Raveena came to the scene to rescue her driver and try to shield him from the crowd. Both individuals headed to the Khar police station to submit complaints but then withdrew them.
