Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, is one of the highly anticipated movies of the year, and advance bookings have proved just that. Pre-sales of the movie have exploded, even surpassing the records set by classic blockbusters like KGF Chapter 2, Gadar 2, and Pathaan.

The movie made sales of around 7 lakh tickets in all formats and languages. The movie will be released in 2D, 3D, IMAX, and 4DX. As predicted, Telugu numbers have skyrocketed, but what's truly intriguing is that the Hindi numbers aren't far behind. 

Advance bookings for Pushpa 2 in Telugu were Rs 10.57 crore, while Hindi totaled Rs 10.14 crore. Even in terms of ticket sales, the Telugu version has 2,73,519, while the Hindi version has 3,40,892. This is unparalleled in contemporary Indian film history. 

Fans have already been comparing Pushpa 2 to mega-blockbusters like Baahubali 2, which set a record in 2017 by selling 6.5 lakh tickets, due to the enthusiasm around the film. With strong demand for the Telugu version, single screens in southern regions like Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are seeing a dramatic increase in ticket sales ahead of the premiere.

Devi Sri Prasad has once again produced a hit album, despite a public argument with the producers about the delay in composing the background music. Within hours after its release, the most recent song, Peelings, went viral. The directors have allegedly replaced Devi Sri Prasad with Sam CS and Thaman S for the film's background score.
