Sania Mirza Bids Adieu to Tennis, Throws a Grant Party Attended by AR Rahman, Mahesh Babu, Namrata Shirodkar, and Others
On Sunday, Sania Mirza organized a farewell bash saying goodbye to her adventurous tennis career. The grand party was attended by several celebrities such as AR Rahman, Mahesh Babu, and his wife Namrata Shirodkar, who made the event even more entertaining. Sania also played a tennis match on Sunday to commemorate her exit from her career at Lal Bahadur Stadium, Hyderabad. This is the same venue, where she had also played the first-ever match of her career.
Through his Instagram story, Mahesh Babu congratulated Sania for her long journey and shared a picture from the event. He also expressed that he is quite proud of Mirza. The picture depicted Mahesh wearing a smart black sweatshirt with Khaki pants, whereas Namrata Shirodkar was in a totally black outfit, which was a perfect match with Sania’s black dress.
The picture showed everyone posing and smiling for the camera and setting an example of friendship. AR Rahman also shared selfies with Sania and Mahesh Babu on his Twitter account. He quoted the party by tagging the duo in the caption. The picture was then shared by Mahesh, who captioned his posting with Rahman, saying that the photo was clicked by the legendary musician himself.
In the caption, Mahesh Babu mentioned that it was a pleasure meeting with sir – AR Rahman, to which the music maestro responded that it was lovely to catch up with Mahesh garu. At the moment, Mahesh has an untitled Telugu project with Trivikram, with co-star Pooja Hegde. The filmmaker had earlier paired with Mahesh Babu earlier for Khaleja and Athadu. The actor will have a new look with long hair and stubble.
Fans are excited about the movie as they are impressed by the makeover for Mahesh. They are equating the new look of the actor to the characterization of Keanu Reeves in John Wick. In another project with filmmaker SS Rajamouli, Mahesh will star in an action-adventure similar to that of Indiana Jones. The film will probably be shot in African forests and may go for release early next year or later this year.
