Aditya Narayan Says That Singers Criticizing Music Labels for Misusing Them Are the Reason for the Problem

Recently, you will find several singers and artists criticizing the music labels for manipulation. They are cribbing about the misuse of artists. To this Aditya Narayan Jha, a renowned singer and TV host says that then why do you need to work with the particular music labels and become their slaves so far? He called out to such folks who become part of the corporation they eventually criticize. Earlier, the individuals had nothing to say as they received opportunities from the labels. But now when a problem arises, the artists are spreading negativity.

The singer says that issues arise if one artist disagrees but the majority agree to an idea. And this is the reason why the progress achieved until then, gets happened. By doing so, the artist foils the efforts of the other 99 singers. And that affects their integrity and professionalism, destroying it completely. Aditya Narayan also said that it is common that before a song is finalized, 10 artists are made to sing it. Because of a lack of opposition, now this has become a norm and only the singers who surrender are the ones to blame for this.

If only everyone puts their foot down and is determined to take sides, saying “If you want me to sing the song only then I will come or, I will not”, shall make things different. When asked why the singer feels there is no unanimity in the music industry, he says that the cause roots in necessity as they provide reasons like – “I do not have money at home, I am poor, if this individual is not singing then I will do so because I need money”. Aditya then goes on to say that he thinks that is fair enough because he has not been through a situation where he had no food on the table.

The singer also says that he cannot comment on behalf of others because he has not seen that poverty. Nonetheless, he thinks that it is detrimental to the music industry at the end of the day. The ‘Tattad Tattad’ and ‘Ji Huzoor’ singer opines that he has no issues collaborating with music labels such as Udit Narayan, his father has also done it and with this, he had become successful. However, Aditya feels that he and the music label in this case have to reach a middle ground.
