Musk Responds to Zuckerberg: Elon Musk Counters Meta CEO's 'Time to Move On' Statement, Calling Zuckerberg 'Chicken'
In response to a post on X (formerly Twitter), Musk commented, "Zuck is acting chicken."
On Sunday, Mark Zuckerberg stated that Elon Musk isn't serious about the cage fight. He mentioned that it was time to stop discussing this matter. In a Threads post, Zuckerberg said, "I believe we all can agree that Elon isn't genuinely interested, and we should move forward. I proposed a genuine date for the event. Dana White offered to turn this into a real charity competition. Elon hasn't confirmed a date; he first mentioned needing surgery, and now he wants a practice round in my backyard. If Elon decides to genuinely consider a specific date and an official event, he's aware of how to get in touch with me. If not, it's best to move on. I'll concentrate on competing with individuals who are truly dedicated to the sport."
On a previous Sunday, Walter Isaacson, Elon Musk's biographer, posted a screenshot of a chat between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. In the chat, Musk asked, "Do you want to have a practice fight at your place next week?"
Zuckerberg responded to the message from the owner of Twitter by suggesting that if Musk was serious about a real MMA match, he should train by himself and then choose whether to fight or let it go.
Elon Musk replied to the challenge in his typical clever way. He mentioned that he'll be in Palo Alto on Monday and suggested fighting in Mark Zuckerberg's Octagon.
Recently, news came out that Elon Musk is talking to the government of Italy about arranging the cage fight he proposed. The culture minister of Italy, Gennaro Sangiuliano, verified that Elon Musk reached out to the government, and they are looking into the idea.
