From “Mirzapur 3, to ‘Panchayat 3’ and “The Family Man 3”, 2024 is the Year of OTTs

Mirzapur is the most loved crime drama of all time. With its two successful seasons, fans were desperately waiting for season 3, and now, finally, it’s here. On Tuesday, March 19, the cast of Mirzapur attended a special event, including Pamkaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, and Rasika Duggal, among others. The cast announced that they are all set to return with Mirzapur season 3.

Ali Fazal, our very own ‘Guddu’ says Mirzapur 3 will have the same ‘flavor’ but with more masala, you may witness some new characters and have to say goodbye to some of the old ones. In season 3, Guddu (Ali Fazal) and Golu (Shweta Tripathi) are up against a new force as they compete to claim the throne. It would be thrilling to see if they succeed in this war or if they have to seek external power to destroy the throne. 

Along with Mirzapur 3, popular series like Panchayat and The Family Man are also returning with season 3, and fans can’t keep their calm. “Panchayat 3,” starring Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, and Raghubir Yadav, is based on the politics in the village of Phulera. “The Family Man,” season 3, starring Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, and Ashlesha Thakur, is a thriller series produced and directed by Raj & DK.

Along with this, another popular series, “Pataal Lok,” is coming with season 2. The cast of Pataal Lok includes Jaideep Ahlawat, Ishwak Singh, and Abhishek Banerjee, with the addition of Tilotamma Shome. Plus, the new series “Citadel: Honey Bunny,” the Hindi version starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, is an intense action and spy thriller set in the 90s.
