Marvel’s Echo is Finally Here With a Bang: An Epic Anti-Hero Story Releasing Today, Watch it on Disney+ Hotstar

Echo is a fictional character appearing in the comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was spawned by David Mack and Joe Quesada, portrayed as the adopted daughter of Kingpin, a supporting character who appeared in Daredevil.

Echo is a miniseries, an action-adventure series with 5 episodes released on Disney+.  It is produced by an American producer and television writer Marion Dayre and directed by Sydney Freeland and Catriona McKenzie

Echo was earlier scheduled to be released in November 2023, but somehow it got delayed. The reason being WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, forcing the showrunners to take a setback. But now the long awaited series is finally available on Disney+ Hotstar. 

Echo Cast Members include Alaqua Cox, Tantoo Cardinal, Chaske Spencer, Devery Jacobs, Graham Greene, Cody Lightning, and Zach McClarnon.

Echo is the story of an anti-hero Maya Lopez, who’s struggling to connect with her american roots while still abiding to a life of crime as a stand-in to the brutal legacy of Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin. She is ought to face her past and reunite with her family and community if she ever wants to move forward. 

Fans are praising Echo on X, formerly Twitter, and sharing their opinions on the movies. One fan wrote, “The ending of Echo is tear inducing. The most beautiful of any Marvel ending”, while the other tweeted, “I just finished #Echo, and boy did I love it! Not only did this manage to tell a complete and compelling story in the span of 5 episodes, but the characters all have development and depth, there was great heart, engaging action, and a pretty damn satisfying conclusion!”
