Jasmin Bhasin’s first public appearance after her corneal damage incident

Jasmine Bhasin, a TV actress who had a corneal issue after wearing contact lenses to an event, made her first public appearance on Wednesday morning. The paparazzi shared a video online. 

Jasmine was seen leaving her car in the video. She wore dark sunglasses, slip-ons, and a co-ord set in pink and blue. She smiled and gave the thumbs up when the photographers asked how she was feeling. She requested that the photographers not use flash when taking her photos.

Jasmine removed her sunglasses to reveal more of her eyes after briefly posing for the cameras. She gave a wave before going into the terminal. A paparazzi told her to take care of herself, to which she responded, "Aap pray karte rahiye (Keep me in your prayers)."

Jasmine recently gave her fans an update on her recovery. She posted a picture of herself sporting large sunglasses on her Instagram Stories and captioned it, "Better now, recovering. Thank you for your love and blessings."

About the Incident

In an interview with the Times of India a few days ago, Jasmine stated that the issue arose on July 17 when she wore the lenses for a function. Jasmine said, “I was in Delhi for an event on July 17, for which I was getting ready. I don’t know what was wrong with my lenses, but after I wore them, my eyes started hurting, and the pain gradually got worse. I wanted to rush to a doctor, but since it was a work commitment, I decided to attend the event and then go to the doctor. I wore sunglasses at the event, and the team helped me manage things because, after a point, I couldn’t see anything."

"Later that night, we saw an eye expert, who told me that my corneas were injured and bandaged my eyes. The following day, I rushed to Mumbai to complete my treatment. I'm in a lot of pain. Doctors have advised me that I should recover within the next four to five days, but in the meantime, I must take special care of my eyes. It's difficult since I can't see, and the agony prevents me from sleeping at all. Fortunately, I did not have to postpone any of my work. "I hope to recover and return to work in a few days," she had said.
