Court Orders Priya Sachdev to Share Will with Karisma Kapoor’s Kids Amid ₹30,000 Crore Inheritance Dispute

Court Orders Priya Sachdev to Share Will with Karisma Kapoor’s Kids Amid ₹30,000 Crore Inheritance Dispute

Summary: Delhi HC asks Priya to share Sunjay Kapur’s will and list assets as Karisma’s children seek justice.

The legal battle over late industrialist Sunjay Kapur’s S 30,000 crore estate stepped up a notch today in the Delhi High Court. Judges asked his widow, Priya Sachdev Kapur, to explain why she has not shared a copy of Sunjay's will with his children from ex-wife Karisma Kapoor: Kiaan (14) and Samaira (20).

The court also ordered Priya to submit a full list of all Sunjay’s movable and immovable assets as of June 12, the date of his death. The directive comes after the children filed a petition claiming the will is suspicious and possibly forged. They claim they haven't seen a copy of it and were unaware of their father's last wishes.

The will, reportedly dated March 2025, has stirred controversy. According to Karisma's children, it excludes them completely and makes Priya the only beneficiary. They contend that they were assured there was no will and were “blindsided” when this document surfaced weeks later.

Meanwhile, the family dynamics are tense. Rani Kapur, Sunjay's mother, has also entered into the dispute, claiming she was left out of the will and that assets worth around ₹10,000 crore should rightfully have been hers.

Priya's side stated that Karisma's children received ₹1,900 crore from the family's Rani Kapur Trust just days before the case was filed.
