About the Movie

Article 370 is a political drama, where Yami Gautam plays the role of an intelligence officer Zooni Haksar. The film is set in Jammu & Kashmir, and shows the reality of revocation and abolishment of Article 370, which gives special rights to Jammu and Kashmir. 

This movie is the production debut of the filmmaker Aditya Dhar (Husband of Yami Gautam) through B62 Studios. URI: The Surgical Strike was directed by Aditya Dhar in 2019. 

Director of the movie Aditya Suhas Jambhale shared his experience of working with the cast of Article 370, “Yami Gautam is a fabulous actor and to work with her was a great experience. She is very studious in her approach. Priyamani is amazing. Aditya Dhar is a great producer and has given me complete freedom. He forced nothing on me."

Further he said this about the response the movie is getting, “I have no words to the way people are reacting. Every day they share videos and we get messages from all over the world. When we started working on this project we knew that people would have the similar response and every Indian would react to it."
