TV actor Rituraj Singh died of cardiac arrest at the age of 59, his close friend and actor Amit Behl confirmed the news. He died on the night of Monday, February 20, 2024, before which he was admitted to the hospital as he was suffering from the pancreatic disease.
Amit Behl confirmed the news to Times Now and said, “Yes, he passed away due to cardiac arrest. He was admitted to a hospital for treatment of pancreas, he got discharged and returned home, had some cardiac complications, and passed away"
Rituraj Singh was an television actor, and has acted in many serials like Banegi Apni Baat, Hitler Didi, Jyoti, Shapath, Aahat, Warrior High, Diya Aur Baati Hum, Adaalat, and Laado 2. The actor has also worked in the movies like Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Vash- Possessed by the Obsessed and Thunivu, the last film he acted in was Yaariyaan 2, which was released last year.
Rituraj singh has also worked in the web series like Criminal, Hey Prabhu, The Test Case, Abhay, Bandish Bandits, Made in Heaven (season 2), and Never Kiss Your Best Friend. Before his, the last series he acted in was Anupama where he played the role of Yashpal.
Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi wrote on X, formerly Twitter, “I am so saddened to know that Ritu Raj passed away. He worked as a producer during my first film. Lost a friend and a great actor. Will miss you brother.”
Producer Sandiip Sikcand also expressed his feelings, “I am shocked & heartbroken on hearing the news! Someone posted the news on my WhatsApp group this morning and I have just been in shock. I worked closely with Rituraj in 'Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii'. He was one of the actors who gave me a warm welcome on the show. To say that he was a brilliant actor is an obvious thing, but more than an actor, he was one of the finest human beings that I know. I am really saddened by the news. May his soul rest in peace and his wife and kids get the strength to deal with this loss."
