Italpinas Development Corporation (IDC) is undertaking the construction of a mixed-use complex in Cagayan de Oro City, the Philippines.
The project involves the construction of seven mixed-use buildings. The first six buildings involve the construction of residential, commercial, and office spaces and the seventh building involves the construction of a 34-story hotel. It will be implemented in four phases.
The first phase involves the construction of two, 11-story towers A and B together will consist of 281 residential units including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, nine commercial units, eight restaurant units and 41 office spaces, respectively. It also includes the installation of semi-transparent photovoltaic panels on its rooftop and water recycling system, elevators and security equipment.
The second phase involves the construction of a shopping mall, commercial facilities, office facilities and residential complex.
The fourth phase is the high-rise hotel designed as a 34-story building.
It also includes the construction of a sky garden, a sky pool area, a gym, a playground, a function hall, a sauna room and other related facilities, the installation of solar panels, elevators, and safety and security systems.
The design works have been undertaken by the in-house division of IDC. First Orient Development and Construction Corporation (FODC) has been appointed as the construction contractor for the first phase.
On May 9, 2016, IDC secured US$7 million loan from state-owned Development Bank of the Philippines for the first phase.
On October 1, 2016, Groundbreaking ceremony held marking the start of construction works on the first phase.
In December 2016, Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) appointed to provide project management and quality surveying.
On March 8, 2017, IDC launched the sales for the Tower B after sold all the space of Tower A of the first phase.
In December 2017, Topping off ceremony was held for Tower A.
In January 2018, Construction activities of Tower A has reached to the the 10th floor and is expected to top off soon.
As of February 2018, Tower A is 85% sold while Tower B is more than 40% sold.
