Mozilla collabs with Element AI to built data trust
Mozilla is collaborating with Montreal based artificial intelligence company, Element AI for the ethical use of AI. The companies are considering the idea of data trust, where individuals will have greater control over their personal information.
MacGregor to supply pull-in system for a deepwater Floating Production Unit (FPU)
Cargotec MacGregor received a contract from China National Offshore Oil Corporation’s (CNOOC) deepwater Floating Production Unit (FPU) for the supply of the riser pull-in system. The FPU is situated in the Lingshui 17-2 gas field, the first R&D project of CNOOC. The delivery by MacGregor is expected by 2020.
Amazon invests more than $600 million in India
The U.S based Amazon has invested more than USD 600 million(more than Rs.4,400) in Indian subsidiaries to boost the market. The move came ahead due to a loss of over Rs.7,000 crores in 2018-19. The funding represents Amazon’s confidence in the Indian market.
