The University of Wyoming (UoW) is planning to build student residence halls in Laramie, Wyoming, the US.

The project involves the construction of student residence halls for 2,000 students in 10 buildings ranging from four to six-story. It will be developed in phases.

The first phase includes the demolition of crane hall and the crane-hill dining center, construction of three residence halls with 700 beds, a power plant, parking and other related facilities.

The project includes the construction of study rooms, lounges, 600 parking spaces and related facilities.

Mahlum Architects, in collaboration with Anderson Strickler LLC and Envision Strategies, commenced the housing and dining planning study for the project in the fourth quarter of 2014.



In September 2015, UoW presented three schemes to the UoW Board of Trustees showing possible orientations of dorm buildings and a parking structure.

Planning activities are underway.
