The South Central Railways (SCR) is planning to build a broad gauge railway line in Telangana, India.
The project involves the construction of a 53.2km broad gauge railway line from Kothagudem to Sathupally. It includes the construction of tunnels, bridges and stations, the installation of signal systems, and the laying tracks.
On July 5, 2017, SCR secured initial funds of US$8 million from the Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) for the development of the project.
