The project involves the construction of two solar plants with combined capacity of 60MW: Valleland II and Valleland III each with a generation capacity of 30MW, substations and other related infrastructure, installation of solar panels and related equipment, and the laying of transmission lines.

Valleland Solar filed an environmental impact declaration in June 2013. In January 2014, the project received the environmental approval from the authority.
