Aranas Real Estate AB (Aranas) is undertaking the construction of a mixed-use in Halland County, Sweden.

The project involves the construction of a mixed-use complex across eight blocks. It will be developed in phases.

The first block includes the construction of 92 rental apartments, 4,100m2 of office space, 1,130m2 of shops at street level. Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2019.

The second block includes the construction of 3,000m2 of office space. Construction is expected to start in 2018, with completion in 2020.

The third block includes the construction of 65 condominium apartments, retail space. Construction is scheduled to be commenced in 2021, with completion in 2023.

The fourth block includes the construction of 42 condominium apartments, office space. Construction is scheduled to be commenced in 2022, with completion in 2023.

The fifth block includes the construction of 50 rental apartments, office space. Construction is scheduled to be commenced in 2021, with completion in 2023.

The sixth block includes the construction of a five-story 17,400m2 building comprising 3,300m2 of office space, 900m2 of retail space, a 400-space parking garage. Construction works commenced in October 2016, with completion scheduled by the second quarter of 2019.

The seventh block includes the construction of 38 rental apartments, shops. Construction is scheduled to be commenced in 2018, with completion in 2020.

The eighth block called as Centrumhuset includes the construction of 600m2 of office space and 500m2 of retail space.

Liljewall Arkitekter and Kanozi Architects (for Block 6) have been appointed as the architects; Norconsult AB as acoustic consultant; Bengt Dahlgren AB as acoustic consultant and plumbing sub-contractor; ELU Konsult AB as civil engineer; Fire Safety Design AB as fire protection consultant; Runevads VVS Teknik AB as plumbing sub-contractor; UTK Activ El AB as electrical sub-contractor.

On December 22, 2014, the project received zoning permit.

In October 2016, Skanska Sweden AB (SKA-B) was awarded a US$24 million contract for the construction of the sixth block of the project as part of the first phase.

On October 27, 2016, a groundbreaking ceremony was held on the sixth block.

In January 2017, construction works commenced on the sixth block.

Construction activities are underway on the sixth block and the entire project is expected to completed in 2023.
